The thrill of a call to an acting audition quite never fades away. But the first couple of times that you get called, you're really going to be anxious about what to expect. Well, that's what we're here to talk about.
Once your name gets called and you enter the audition room all nervous, you'll notice at first that there are quite a few people in the room with you. You will right away see the casting director, whom you will probably recognize. But other than that person, the producer will be there too, looking all important (but not always so). You'll find the camera operator taping the proceedings, a choreographer in case there is any dancing to do, and a dozen other hangers on.
It can be difficult to know who the hangers on are and who the important people are though. You do very well to just treat everyone like they could be the producer and director. Sometimes, it's the youngest and most carelessly-dressed person in the room who's the most important person there. So you should probably be a little careful.
